Meet the Team

Siegfried Mueller is an experienced Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the chemicals industry. With over 23 years at ASTG as the Owner / Founder, Siegfried has strong business development professional skilled in Gas, Management, Continuous Improvement, Product Development, and Research and Development (R&D). He is a globally recognized expert in advanced analytics and a former Global Operations Executive for BOC Gases.Siegfried is a Past President of the International Society of Beverage Technologists (ISBT) and is still an active participant on its Board.

Rick Papworth has been with ASTG for 15 years and currently serves as a Partner / Owner. He provides scientific consulting, laboratory services, products, and analytical support for the Medical, Semiconductor, Industrial Air Separation, and Food and Beverage industries. He previous served as a Project Engineer (Semiconductor) for BOC / Linde. Rick provides expertise on Military Fuels & Cryogenics for ASTG’s clients.

Larry Marcus brings 25 years of Sales Manager experience to ASTG. Previously with California Analytical Instruments, ASTG benefits from his experience providing solutions to emissions monitoring applications. His technology expertise includes Chemiluminescence, Flame Ionization, Nondispersive Infrared Sensor (NDIR), Paramagnetic, and Fourier-Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR).

Brenna Breece serves as Director of Operations for Analytical Science & Technologies Group (ASTG), overseeing the company's operational functions and driving strategic initiatives that support growth, efficiency, and customer success. With a strong background in project management and organizational development, she is dedicated to building scalable processes, empowering teams, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Sam Evans leads product strategy and commercialization at ASTG, with a remit spanning business development, product management, marketing, and customer-facing technical strategy. He brings over a decade of experience in gas analysis and analytical instrumentation, most recently at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he held senior sales development and technical specialist roles across mass spectrometry and process analytics. A chemist by training, Sam holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Keele University. At ASTG, he focuses on translating emerging market signals across semiconductor, aerospace and defense, industrial gas, CCUS, and hydrogen purity into commercial strategy and pipeline.

Dr. Kevin Ramazan is an expert in gas analysis and technology innovation with over 15 years of experience in analytical system design and development. Holding a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry specializing in atmospheric chemistry, he began his career supporting Intel in the semiconductor industry, where he refined his expertise in advanced analytical techniques and process optimization, before leading the development of long-path FTIR gas analyzers at California Analytical Instruments.

As Manager of Technology Development at ASTG, Kevin continues to drive innovation through precision, collaboration, and a customer-first approach — guided by his belief that "our success depends on our customers' success."
