ASTG is proud to announce that we have been awarded the U.S. Air Force's worldwide Aviator Breathing Oxygen (ABO) Sampling and Analysis Program, supporting the Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Army. This program ensures that the cryogenic oxygen used by aviators in mission-ready aircraft meets the highest standards of purity and safety.
For decades, the program was held by a single incumbent. ASTG earned this award after nearly seven years of engineering development, collaboration, and innovation.
Engineering Breakthroughs That Redefined the Standard
Patented Low-Pressure Cryogenic Sampling System
ASTG developed a new sampling technology that eliminates operator exposure to cryogenic temperatures and removes the hazardous materials classification from collected samples. Labs around the world can now ship ABO samples safely and easily; even across regions where previous systems were restricted.
The AirBreatherâ„¢: A Four-Minute Analysis
Our AirBreather analyzer uses advanced FTIR and speed-of-sound technologies to modernize mil-spec ABO testing. Full analyses can now be completed in four minutes, compared with three hours using legacy systems.
These advancements dramatically increase safety, speed, and global accessibility for oxygen quality testing.
A Culture Built on Service
At ASTG, technology is more than equipment; it's purpose. Our mission is to protect the world and transform lives through meaningful innovation. Every nut, bolt, and wire assembled in our systems can be traced to a larger mission: safeguarding the people who protect us.
This contract is deeply aligned with that purpose.
A Foundation for the Future
Winning this program elevates ASTG's role as a global supplier to the U.S. defense industry. It also serves as a strategic cornerstone for expanding our aerospace and defense offerings over the next decade.
We are honored to support the warfighters who safeguard our freedom. And we are committed to delivering technology that keeps them safe; every mission, every day.
