Aromatic Hydrocarbons

Aromatic hydrocarbons are among the most safety-critical contaminants in industrial and beverage-grade gas streams. The ISBT aromatic-hydrocarbon limit for beverage CO₂, expressed as benzene, is 20 ppb. AirBreather measures benzene on a dedicated GC-PID with an analyte-specific method, detected to 1 ppb, 20× below that limit. Individual BTEX speciation (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene) is available where an application requires it.
