Aromatic Hydrocarbons

Aromatic hydrocarbons are among the most safety-critical contaminants in industrial and beverage-grade gas streams. The ISBT aromatic-hydrocarbon limit for beverage CO₂, expressed as benzene, is 20 ppb. AirBreather resolves benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX) individually to 0.5 ppb on a dedicated GC-PID, roughly 40× below that limit.
