The ASTG FT2 is a high-performance, fully automated FTIR gas analyzer designed for continuous, real-time monitoring of multiple gas species in industrial and environmental applications.
Based on Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, the FT2 transmits broadband infrared light through a temperature-controlled, multi-pass gas cell where target gases absorb specific wavelengths corresponding to their molecular vibrational modes. A RockSolid™ Michelson-type interferometer modulates the IR signal, and the resulting interferogram is converted into a high-resolution absorption spectrum using a Fourier transform.
Advanced Partial Least Squares (PLS) chemometric algorithms allow for accurate quantification of gas concentrations, even in complex or overlapping spectral environments. We offer a choice of detector: DTGS or TE cooled MCT. The FT2 measures gases such as CO, CO₂, NOx, SO₂, NH₃, CH₄, HCl and a range of hydrocarbons simultaneously.
The system is easy to use, with an intuitive user interface and remote access capabilities. The FT2 is built for 24/7 unattended operation in demanding industrial environments, making it ideal for process control, CEMS, and regulatory compliance monitoring.
